Hi there! My name is Maddie, and at 23 years-old, I have been fortunate enough to visit 40 countries. I have explored the world through solo trips, leading study abroad programs, and traveling with friends and family. Through my blog, Maddie Around the World, I aim to empower women and young adults to travel solo and explore the world confidently. - My favorite country is Rwanda. I have been twice and can’t wait to go back again!
- My first solo trip was to New Zealand and Australia.
- The first time I left the country was on a family trip to Canada.
- I studied abroad in Lugano, Switzerland.
- I have led three study abroad programs in Rwanda, Switzerland, and Singapore!
- I want my next trip to be to Peru.
